15 years of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP
Ecology and Environmental Protection
Under conditions of the global transition to a “green” and low-carbon economy, Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline project has become a model example of implementing the country’s environmental commitments and advancing the modernization of its energy infrastructure.
As a strategic national clean energy pipeline, Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline annually delivers 15 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Compared to coal, with equivalent energy value, it reduces carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 30 million tons. This significantly improves air quality in the southern regions and makes a significant contribution to clean air initiatives in Kazakhstan.
In the process of transitioning from traditional fossil fuels to clean energy, Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline project puts “green” development principles into practice.
The project also creates a solid foundation for harmoniously combining environmental protection and economic growth, promoting sustainable development and shaping a prosperous future.
