In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 18, 2015 No.410-V “On anti-corruption management” (hereinafter – the Law), Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP takes the actions to prevent corruption, as well as to minimize the causes and conditions, facilitating the commission of the corruption offenses by:
- Establishing an organizational and legal mechanisms that ensure accountability, controllability and transparency of decision-making procedures;
- Compliance with the principles of fair competition;
- Prevention of conflict of interests;
- Adoption and compliance with business ethics standards;
- Taking actions to build an anti-corruption culture;
- Interaction with government agencies and other organizations on anti-corruption management issues.
According to the Law, one of the parts of the comprehensive anti-corruption program, implemented in Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP (hereinafter – the Partnership), is the Anti-corruption enforcement policy of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP (hereinafter – the Policy).

In the course of interaction with the Counter-agents, how the Counter-agents conduct their business relations on fair and honest basis, take care of their own reputation, demonstrate support for high ethical standards in conducting economic activity, implement own measures for anti-corruption management shall be taken into consideration.
The Partnership uses reasonable endeavors to minimize the risk in business relations with counter-agents that may be involved in corrupt activities, for which the good standing and tolerance of Counter-agents to bribery is assessed, including an analysis of whether they have their own anti-corruption policies and procedures, their readiness to comply with the requirements of the Policy and include anti-corruption undertakings in contracts in the form stipulated in the attachment to the Policy, as well as provide mutual assistance for the ethical conduct of business and prevention of corruption.
