The Head of State received Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC "QazaqGaz" Sanzhar Zharkeshov

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the current activities of the national gas company and the progress of the execution of his instructions on the priority provision of commercial gas to the domestic market.

Sanzhar Zharkeshov reported on the development of a comprehensive plan for the development of the gas industry. This plan provides for the expansion of the resource base and modernization of the country’s gas transportation infrastructure.

The Head of State was informed about the implementation of his instructions to increase the transparency of the procurement system, as well as about changes in the personnel policy of the national company.

During the meeting, anti-crisis measures to overcome the risks associated with the changing geopolitical situation were discussed.

Following the meeting, the President supported the proposed solutions and gave a number of instructions, including on organizing a full audit and ensuring transparency in the company’s activities.
