Protecting ourselves and our loved ones: gas workers are leaders in vaccination

As of today, perhaps the most vivid manifestation of consciousness and active citizenship is the participation in the COVID-19 vaccination campaign. Another powerful wave of coronavirus infection swept the whole world, and only universal vaccination will help to stop it and return to the normal course of life.

Samruk-Kazyna NWF group of companies takes this issue very seriously, taking the most decisive preventive measures and constantly monitoring the vaccination status. To date, 190 727 persons or 69.3% of the total number of employees of the fund’s group of companies have received the vaccine. The second component of the vaccine was received by 153 761 persons or 55,9% of employees.

One of the leaders, according to the comparable results among all portfolio companies of the fund, is KazTransGas JSC, in which the total number of vaccinated workers is currently 10 981 persons or 87%.

Shymkent MGPM, Intergas Central Asia JSC was especially distinguished, where 97.6% of employees received vaccines against coronavirus in a timely manner.  Kostanay MGPM is on the second place with the rate of vaccinated employees of 96%. The employees of Shymkent MGPM and Kostanay MGPM on behalf of the General Director of  Intergas Central Asia JSC sent the letters of thanks.

In addition, the gas workers received sports equipment as a gift to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Gifts from the company were also presented to employees of Poltoratskiy, Akbulakskiy LPA, Turkestan CS and Shornak ERC and all gas distribution facilities.

It should be noted that the employees of the domestic gas industry in the period of lockdown last year, in winter and summer, carried out uninterrupted supply of blue fuel to Kazakhstanis, as well as transit and export supplies of gas. Throughout the group of companies of KazTransGas JSC, the most stringent measures have been taken and are being carried out to this day to ensure the safety of life and health of employees.

In conclusion, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that vaccination is an exclusively voluntary matter. But it is vaccination that today serves as an indicator of the degree of maturity of civic position and a conscious attitude to their health on the part of each employee of Samruk-Kazyna JSC holding.
