About Coronavirus Prevention Measures in KazTransGas JSC
In connection with the announced pandemic of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and in connection with the announcement by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, of the emergency situation in the country, the national company KazMunayGas JSC and the national gas and gas supply company KazTransGas JSC adopted a number of preventive measures.
A headquarters was created to manage crisis situations and prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the group of companies of KazTransGas JSC. At the same time, all production processes, gas production, gas supplies to domestic consumers and for export are carried out normally. Gas transportation and transit through gas pipelines is carried out within the planned volumes.
Employee safety and uptime are a priority for the national gas operator.
In order to prevent the spread of a dangerous infection among the employees of KazTransGas JSC, all types of business trips, both outside Kazakhstan and across the republic, were canceled.
All mass events were canceled; the transition to electronic document management with the signing of orders, memos, contracts and other documents in the electronic document management system was fully completed.
More than 50% of administrative workers have been transferred to remote forms of work. The rotation schedules of workers engaged in remote work, the time of the beginning and end of the working day are determined.
Disinfection and treatment of office and industrial premises. An explanatory work on personal hygiene measures is carried out among employees.
In crowded places at the factory, all necessary disinfection measures are taken, as well as temperature measurements for workers.
Employees of the company with symptoms of Acute Respiratory Viral Infection are recommended to avoid to come to work, immediately consult a doctor with the subsequent opening of a sick leave until full recovery.
The same measures have been taken in all subsidiaries and affiliates of the national gas operator.
As of March 17, 2020, no employees with coronavirus infection were identified.
