JSC «KazTransGas» and Oil and Gas Corporation of Vietnam «Petrovietnam» signed the Memorandum of mutual understanding.

The working meeting of Prime Minister of Socialist Republic of Vietnam with representatives of JSC «NC «KazMunaiGas» took place on May 31 2015. In the course of this meeting the Memorandum of mutual understanding between JSC «KazTransGas» and Corporation «PetroVietnam» has been signed.

JSC «KazTransGas» is planning to extend its gas resourse base including attracting technologies and experience of the leading oil and gas company of Vietnam – Corporation «PetroVietnam».

The subject of the Memorandum of mutual understanding between JSC «KazTransGas» and Corporation «PetroVietnam» is determination and development of cooperation on joint exploration, development and production of hydrocarbon resources in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the course of joint work they shall determine potential project which, at parties’ discretion, would serve as a base for further cooperation.
