KazTransGas JSC commences cooperation with Eurasian Development Bank for gas supply to the regions.

A Financing Agreement to the investment project “Modernization and construction of gas distribution networks in Aktobe oblast” was signed today in Astana city by Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and subsidiary of the National Operator KazTransGas JSC –KazTransGas-Aimak JSC.

As per the Loan Agreement, EDB shall allocate 7.7 Billion Tenge for the construction of automatic gas distribution station (AGDS-300) in Aktobe city, supply pipelines to Komsomol village and intravillage gas pipeline construction in Irgiz village of Aktobe oblast.

JSC KazTransGas ensures implementation of social projects related to gas supply to the regions of Kazakhstan, modernization of the existing and construction of new gas pipelines and gas distribution networks. For this purpose, the National Operator in the sphere of gas and gas supply uses several financing sources including its own finances, also by luring foreign investments.

JSC KazTransGas plans to further continue cooperation with EDB under loan financing to give the financial support to the projects under implementation with regard to modernization of the existing gas networks and gas supply to the populated areas of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
