Gas employees have discussed the Address of the President.

The team of KazTransGas JSC has discussed the Address of N. Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “The third modernization of the Republic of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness”.  In the meeting, chaired by a senior Vice-President for transportation and marketing of gas of NC KazMunayGas JSC Mr. Ibulla Zhumagulovich Serdi in on-line mode, the employees of subsidiaries are in almost all regions of Kazakhstan of the National Operator were able to participate. In his speech, the chairman pointed out that the main political document defines the long-term priorities for the country’s development and poses serious challenges for the gas industry. As part of the accelerated technological modernization of the economy identified as the first priority of the Address, the group of companies of KazTransGas JSC will adhere to the policy on the use of the most advanced technologies, including IT-sphere in the construction of gas industry infrastructure.

“Equipping gas infrastructure with the most modern technologies, we have substantially increased the labor productivity. Robot technology confirms it, for several years successfully used in the course of diagnosis of gas pipelines and compressor stations, “said Mr. Pavel Viktorovich Klimov, the Chairman of the Public Association National Council of Veterans of the Gas Industry while speaking to the staff.

Mr. Sultangali Imazhanov, the veteran of the gas industry has reported to the staff: “We must not forget that the gas and our work is of great social importance, and performed gasification of the country demonstrates the care of the state of its citizens.You have all heard that at the beginning of this year, almost half of the population of Kazakhstan have provided with blue flame natural gas! The southern regions of the country are provided with our own gas from western regions. Akyrtobe booster compressor station, which is the first in the country, which has opened the way to domestic gas to China. Export and transport capabilities have been expanded. 25 years ago, when Kazakhstan has become independent, we did not even dream about such results of our work”.

During the discussion, the gas companies said that significant challenges are put before the National Gas Operator. Indeed, Mr. Nursultan Nazarbayev in his Address stressed that “namely the oil and gas sector should retain its strategic importance. At that, in conditions of slowing-down the global demand, the head of the state says on the need to enter to new markets and expand the geography of supplies. Much attention should be given to expanding the mineral resource base”. – KazTransGas JSC is working in this direction, for example, this year the record volume of transportation of gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been agreed with the Russian Gazprom. In addition this year, the company plans to enter to the Chinese market. With regard to the expansion of the raw material base, it is planned to put into pilot operation of Airakty field of Amangeldy group of fields.

During the meeting direct connections from regions have been held. Aidana Yeschanova, the young specialist of Taraz branch of Intergas Central Asia JSC in her speech, stressed the first priority of the Address of the President regarding the accelerated technological modernization. As a specialist, who is directly responsible for the automation of technological process in the gas industry, I can note that KazTransGas JSC at the present moment applies the most modern equipment, improved all technological processes, – said Aidana Yeschanova. – Akyrtobe station can be the example, where I work, and that can be called unique”. The most advanced Termodin 6-staged compressor of General Electric company have been installed here, which reduce the process of the gas compression by times and for direct monitoring of the entire process the most advanced automated control and monitoring system has been installed at the station. The team of gas industry has been rejuvenated significantly. Our company is recruiting young people in the regions of its presence, educates, creates conditions. This is great!, – admires young specialist.

The President has noted that the actuality of the Strategy-2050 increases, which will be held on the basis of the Plan of the nation “100 concrete steps”. On the basis of this document, KazTransGas JSC has developed the strategic plan “100 steps in the sphere of gas and gas supply” in the last year. As noted at the meeting, almost all tasks set in this document have been implemented.

The fourth priority of improving the quality of human capital, increase in the innovative capacity of the Address has been discussed in the course of the discussion. KazTransGas JSC pays the most closest attention to this issue. At the present moment, in regions, in places of the location of the gas operator the process of training of youth from the local population and their employment is being performed.
