GAS INDUSTRY VETERANS WERE CONGRATULATED ON THE DAY OF THE CAPITAL

Gas veterans arrived in Astana from the regions to take part in the festive events dedicated to the day of the capital. But first, in the office of KazTransGas, a meeting was held on topical issues of the gas industry.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC “KazTransGas” Kairat Sharipbayev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted, “Gasification of settlements is the primary task set by the Head of State. Therefore, the gas industry has become one of the most dynamically developing areas in recent years. To date, all key export routes of natural gas in Central Asia pass through the territory of our state. We have used our gas transportation potential to the maximum.”

During this informal meeting, the head of the Kostanay branch of the Association Kuanysh Omarov addressed the participants of the meeting. He noted that “not so long ago there were frequent problems of disconnection of gas, there were various accidents. Not now. “KazTransGas” has updated the gas transportation system, providing people with an uninterrupted supply of gas and today the domestic gas economy is a whole complex of modern, modernized enterprises,” Kuanysh Omarov said.

Head of Atyrau branch of the Council of veterans of the gas industry Bayram Tursunbayev noted the important role of the Association in the social life of the region. “We, gas veterans, always actively participate in solving social issues of the region,-said Bayram Tursunbayev. – Just the other day in Atyrau, at public hearings, we discussed the issues of tariff policy. It should be noted that the cost of gas in Kazakhstan is one of the lowest. My grandson is a student and pays even more for a cell phone. Sometimes the Bank’s Commission exceeds the cost of the gas tariff itself. Nevertheless, to get gas, to clean and to bring to each house is a huge work, which employs thousands of specialists. And this work is not always appreciated. And I think we should talk about it.”

The Council of veterans of the gas industry was established only 6 months ago, but despite this, it already takes an active part in the work of scientific and technical councils and public life of the regions.  The main purpose of this industry Association is to attract veterans to active public life, assistance in solving social problems, exchange of experience and professional skills.
