QazaqGaz and Petromal will cooperate in the field of geological study and gas processing

Sanzhar Zharkeshov, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, and Eyas Alomuz, Chief Executive Officer of Petromal Sole Proprietorship LLC, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The agreement was concluded within the framework of the official visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the United Arab Emirates.

The signed document aims to cooperate in the joint development of new gas fields, geological exploration of the subsoil in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the framework of the construction of gas processing plants.
The parties expect that the Memorandum will become an essential mechanism for increasing the competitiveness of business in Kazakhstan and will create a basis for the development of close commercial ties, as well as contribute to an increase in bilateral investment and technological exchange between Kazakhstan and the UAE.

Petromal is an integrated UAE oil and gas company focused on the upstream and downstream sectors of the economy. In addition to exploration and production, the company provides oilfield services, and operates as an independent supplier in the UAE and the MENA region. The company also operates in the EPC sector through a subsidiary.
