Moody’s has acknowledged KazTransGas ratings at the “Baa3” level
International rating agency of Moody’s Investors Service acknowledged rating of Kazakhstan national oil &gas company of “КаzMunaiGas ” & its subsidiaries at “Baa3” level, prognosis – “negative”.
As it is noted in rating agency information, Moody’s had left without change ratings of four kazakhstany emitents, operating in oil & gas sphere: NC of “КаzMunaiGas”JSC, “КаzТransGas”JSC, “Intergas Central Asia” JSC & “КаzТransOil” JSC.These actions finalize the process of ratings revision, started on the 22 January, this year, is underlined in the informationу. “When undertaking the decision on “КаzMunaiGas” & its subsidiaries rating acknowledging, support, rendered to the group of companies by the Government in 2015 had been taken into consideration. That allowed the group significantly decrease the debt, & we trust, that, the Government will continue to render this significant support, which will allow group to maintain competition factors, respective to current rating“, – underlined Vice President of Moody’s Denis Perevezetsev, whose words are cited in the information.
As it has been already said, on the 22nd of January Moody’s has put forward the possibility of 32 oil& gas & servicing companiesof EMEA area rating decrease for revision, including “KazMunaiGaz” JSC, “KazMunaiGaz Finance Sub B.V., ” Intergas Central Asia” JSC, Intergas Finance B.V., “КаzТransGas”, “КаzTransOil”, Nostrum Oil & Gas Plc, “Zhaik Munai”.
