Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline construction project is the project the main purpose of which is to bring prosperity to citizens of Sough Kazakhstan region and welfare to the people, the project is included in the list of strategic projects within the limits of State program of Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Industrialization Map for 2010-2014, and is a joint project in power industry field between the Republic of Kazakhstan and People’s Republic of China.
In early 2011 on the basis of Project Group there was created a joint venture Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP, at the same time there was created a team for implementation of the project, which consisted of the best technical specialists and managers who had been selected and engaged by both shareholders. There have been arranged construction works with application of construction management model “PMT+PMC+TPI+EPC”, in October 2013 construction of the liner part of the first phase was completed, late in 2013 commenced transportation of natural gas to South region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a new record was achieved in terms of accelerated construction of gas pipeline in the territory of Kazakhstan, thereby filling a gap in transportation of natural gas from western regions to southern regions of Kazakhstan, aspirations of people living in the southern part of Kazakhstan have come true.
At this time construction of II phase of the project is in progress.
