KazTransGas JSC has summarized the activities results for 10 months.

The National Operator in the field of gas and gas supply of KazTransGas JSC has summed up the activities results of the group of companies for 10 months of 2018.

According to operational data, the consolidated income of KazTransGas JSC for 10 months of the current year amounted to 809 bln. KZT, which is higher than the same period of the last year by 363,2 bln. KZT or  by 81%. The consolidated net profit of the group of companies of the National Operator in the field of gas and gas supply for the reporting period amounted to 156,2 bln. KZT, which is higher than the same period of the last year by 89,9 bln. KZT or by 135%.

The received profit allows the National Operator to restrain the rise in prices on the domestic market and subsidize Kazakhstan gas consumers (expected losses from trading operations on the domestic market in 2018 – 46 bln. KZT), and also serve the loan portfolio to the amount of 560 bln. KZT.

This year, KazTransGas JSC has paid taxes and other payments to the budget to the amount of more than 63,4 bln. KZT, which once again confirms the status of the company as the largest taxpayer in the country.

The volume of gas sales for the reporting period amounted to 19,2 bln. cubic meters. This is higher than the indicator of the same period of the last year by 6 bln. cubic meters, or by 46%. At that, the growth of gas sales for export amounted to 4,3 bln. cubic meters, including at the expense of the export suppliers of gas to the People’s Republic of China. At that, the contract on export supplies of 5 bln. cubic meters of gas to China, concluded last year, has been fulfilled ahead of the schedule and in full scope.

The volume of main transportation amounted to 93,2 bln. cubic meters, which is higher than last year by 10 bln. cubic meters or by 12%.
