There was an offline/online lecture on anti-corruption enforcement on November 24, 2023 at the head office of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP with participation of the Head of the Prevention Department of Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Anti-Corruption Service) in Almaty.

The main objective of this action is anti-corruption awareness in order to create an anti-corruption culture among employees of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP, to increase understanding of the essence of corruption and mechanisms for its prevention, zero tolerance education towards any manifestations of corruption.
Mr. K. Salimbayev, Head of Prevention Department of Anti-corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Anti-Corruption Service) in Almaty, in the course of his speech, explained that the main objective of the Anti-Corruption Service is the prevention of corruption offenses. Explaining the main packages of the anti-corruption reforms, he pointed out concerning the personal responsibility of managers for the corruption of subordinates and poor quality preventive work, the differentiated system of rewarding the citizens for reporting the facts of corruption, a complete ban on giving gifts, the comprehensive declaring of citizens of the RK, and the responsibility stipulated by the administrative and criminal codes of the RK.
He also pointed out that the importance of the preventive work by the quasi-public sector entities, having clarified the main objectives of the Compliance Service to prevent the corruption offenses, identify corruption risks (conflicts of interest, spending money, public procurement, organizational and distribution functions), conduct preventive conversations with employees, convince them to comply with anti-corruption standards, and live by adhering to the principles of honesty.
