The vision of "Zhanargan QazaqGaz" was presented in the branches of "QazaqGaz" JSC NC

From May 19 to 27, meetings were held in the regional branches of  “QazaqGaz” JSC NC  throughout the country to explain the main goals and objectives of the new vision of “Zhanargan QazaqGaz”.

In addition to the employees of the branches, the meeting was attended by representatives of regional gas farms and production staff. The heads of the branches presented to the employees a new vision of “Zhanargan QazaqGaz”, consisting of five main directions.

The first is the execution of the instructions of the Head of State to conduct a full audit of the company and ensure transparency of its activities, as well as the implementation of major projects. As part of the implementation of major projects, the Company’s tasks include the reconstruction of gas transmission systems in the Mangystau and Atyrau regions, HPP-2, 3 in Almaty, the construction of a new gas processing plant with a capacity of 1 billion m3, as well as a combined-cycle gas plant in the Turkestan region.

The second direction includes the development of human capital. This direction involves updating and improving the personnel policy based on the principles of meritocracy, transparency and improving working conditions for production personnel.

The third direction focuses on developing a new development strategy to address the unprecedented challenges facing the national company. This work will require the consolidation of the efforts of all participants in the gas supply market, including multinational companies and subsoil users involved in the projects of the Kashagan, Tengiz, Karachaganak, Zhanazhol fields, etc.

The fourth direction is to ensure uninterrupted gas supply through proper operation of the GTS and protection of the domestic market.

The fifth direction is to increase the transparency of the Company’s purchases and optimize costs through the introduction of a new procurement model, including the development of local content in procurement and localization of production in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the development of proposals for demonopolization and optimization of assets of the group of companies and the exclusion of intermediary structures.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Board of the national company “QazaqGaz” Sanzhar Zharkeshov held a communication session in the Town Hall format with the participation of the expert council, the Council of veterans, middle managers, as well as employees of production branches and facilities of the gas transmission system from all regions of Kazakhstan, including engineering staff and ordinary employees. The Head of QazaqGaz presented a new vision of the Company’s development and outlined key priorities.
