The thousandth subscriber is connected to natural gas in the capital

Gasification of Nur-Sultan residential areas continues. Today “blue flame natural gas” is connected to the house of the thousandth consumer. The satisfied owners of the house were able to cook something on gas for the first time. They admit that it is not only convenient, but also much faster.

• – Every year we burnt coals in the stove. Every day carry in buckets like this. And now we will use the gas. Many thanks to the gas workers. Now I don’t need this coal, – Kanat Bekibayev says, the owner of the house on Kyzylkol street.
• – Gas is much better than coal. There is no soot from it. You don’t have to take out the ashes and bring firewood into the house. I have been burning the stove for 60 years. And now I can finally forget about this work, – Alima apa echoes her son.

According to the capital gasification plan, the construction of gas distribution networks in Nur-Sultan is divided into 3 phases with a construction period until 2023. As of today, the gas pipelines and structures for 8 startup complexes (SC) of the 1st construction phase with a total length of 413,32 km have been commissioned. The gas pipelines to TPP-1, 2, 3 were built, gas distribution substations were installed in residential areas Zheleznodorozhny, Promyshlenniy, Koktal-1, the gas pipeline was connected to residential buildings in Koktal-2, Promyshlenniy, Agrogorodok, Yugo-Vostok residential areas. At the moment, by order of KazTransGas Aimak JSC, the laying of networks of the 2nd phase is being carried out in the residential areas International, Michurino and Kuigenzhar. Gas startup in these areas is planned in the near future.

• – By the end of the year, about 14 thousand subscribers of the capital will have access to gas. Gas for the capital is new. The safety of the gas equipment operation is of primary importance here. Therefore, the timely conclusion of maintenance contracts is the key to the success and safety of equipment operation. All consumers need to remember the safety rules when using natural gas. The correct operation of the chimneys and the ventilating duct means safety and health. In fact, the most of carbon monoxide poisoning is caused by draft failure. It is also prohibited to independently carry out the installation, repair and transfer of gas equipment and appliances. This should be done by specialists, – reminds Daulet Arykbayev, Director of Astana production branch of KazTransGas Aimak JSC.

Currently, the Branch is working on issuing the technical specification to consumers for connecting to the gas supply system.
