On the eve of the professional holiday, Day of Oil and Gas Industry Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an event for young gas workers was held in the central office of the National Operator, KazTransGas JSC.

The meeting format had the status of “open collar” with young specialists of the company. Pavel Lednikov, the Adviser to the Chairman of the Management Board of KazTransGas JSC, held the meeting regarding:   “KazTransGas today and tomorrow”

Such events have already become traditional in the group of companies of the National Operator. They are organized by Human Resources Management and Labor Payment Department together with the Youth Council of KazTransGas companies group.

The main goal is to promote the disclosure of the potential of young people, identify socially active, talented specialists, increase the professional and creative competencies of young employees.

KazTransGas JSC is confident that it is always interesting and very useful for young specialists to hear the views of professionals, adopt the best practices, knowledge, and take important advices.

This time the main topic of the meeting was the mission and development strategy of KazTransGas JSC. The key principles of the main strategic goals and directions of development of both the company and the national gas industry in whole were discussed in detail.

Pavel Lednikov reported about the main directions for the further development of the gas industry, which were set by the Head of State to the National Operator during the meeting held in June of this year. He emphasized the several main goals, this is the expansion of the resource base, the modernization of the outdated gas infrastructure and the construction of a new one, as well as the continuation of the implementation of the country’s Gasification program.

In the course of the meeting, young specialists asked a number of questions on topics of interest. The range of questions was very wide – from geological exploration, pricing reform, to risk management in the national company.

At the end of the meeting, the participants thanked for the interesting dialog and pointed out that they are very proud of the experience in gaining skills to work directly at production site in the gas industry, as well as creating all conditions for the professional growth of young specialists and providing high support and trust from the Company’s management.

According to the meeting results, young specialists were inspired by the results achieved by the Company, both at the national and international levels and by the contribution made to the development of the country as of today, as well as by the long-term strategic plans for the development of the gas industry, gained a powerful impetus and are ready to contribute to the development of the gas industry!
