Natural gas came to the homes of Shieli village residents in Kyzylorda Region.

The commissioning of «Shieli» automated gas-distribution station (AGDS) has been held under «Gasification of 5 settlements in Kyzylorda Region» investment project by the national operator KazTransGas JSC.

Krymbek Kusherbaev, Akim of Kyzylorda Region, and Serik Yestay, First Deputy General Director of KazTransGas JSC, have attended the ceremonial commissioning of AGDS and gas supply objects.

Seventeen km of the gas pipeline-tap of «Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent» main pipeline were built, AGDS and 4 gas-distribution points, 29 gas-distribution cabinet points were installed and 270 km of block gas-distribution networks were supplied under the gasification of Shieli village, one of the largest district centers of the region. Commissioned facilities ensure continuous gas supply for over 31 thousand residents of Shieli village, including 6,488 private houses, 84 large-panel houses and 74 municipal enterprises.

Serik Yestay, First Deputy General Director of KazTransGas JSC, noted: «Providing houses with gas and giving residents of Shieli village warmth and joy, KazTransGas JSC proves again that it is a national company. Let me bring forward some figures – each year the national operator connects over 35 thousand residents to gas pipelines. Only in Kyzylorda Region 1,250 km of gas pipelines have been laid out within the framework of the project. «KazTransGas» is a socially responsible company and our whole activity is oriented at the welfare of Kazakhstan citizens and prosperity of our state».

We remind that residents of Zhanakorgan village, Kyzylorda Region, were supplied with the natural gas last week. KazTransGas JSC is planning to introduce 2 AGDSs till the end of the month and to supply with the gas residents of Aiteke Bi and Aralsk. The termination of «Gasification of 5 settlements of Kyzylorda Region» investment project is scheduled to the end of current year right after the gasification of the city of Baikonur.

Over 190 thousand residents of Kyzylorda Region will be supplied with the natural gas within the project. Currently they have built 1,439 km of gas pipelines, 81 units of gas-distribution points and 258 cabinet points in the region. Herewith all gas pipelines and infrastructure facilities are commissioned ahead of the schedule.

Reference: Nearly seven thousand new houses have been connected to the gas supply system within last five years. Large enterprises, small and medium business objects of Kyzylorda gradually transfer to the ecological fuel. In 2013, KazTransGas JSC attached municipal gas networks to «Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent» main pipeline. Thus, the gas shortage in the winter season has been removed.
