As part of the implementation of the investment project of the national operator KazTransGas JSC “Gasification of 5 settlements of Kyzylorda region”, an automated gas distribution station (AGDS) “Zhanakorgan” was launched.
The event was attended by Governor of Kyzylorda region Krymbek Kusherbayev and Chairman of the Board (General Director) of JSC “KazTransGas Aimak” Ibulla Serdi.
As part of the gasification of the village Zhanakorgan also was built a gas pipeline-branch from the main gas pipeline “Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent”, 7 km of high-pressure gas pipeline, 2 hydraulic fracturing (gas distribution points), 27 GDCP (gas distribution cabinet points) and 275 km of intra-gas pipelines. Now more than 30 thousand inhabitants of the settlement will be provided with blue fuel. This is 5410 private and 27 high-rise buildings, 167 municipal enterprises.
The company plans to launch another 3 AGDS by the end of the month and supply gas to the settlements of Shieli, Ayteke bi and the city of Aralsk. By the end of the year, it is planned to complete the gasification project of Baikonur, Kyzylorda region.
According to Chairman of the Board of JSC “KazTransGas Aimak” Ibulla Serdi: “Thanks to the efforts of the national operator JSC “KazTransGas”, for the first time in Kazakhstan, gas will be carried out in five districts of the region within a month. Thus, more than 190 thousand residents of Kyzylorda region will have the opportunity to use the most convenient and environmentally friendly fuel. In total, about 1,439 km of gas pipelines, 81 units of gas distribution points, 258 Cabinet points were built in the region in a short period of time. Now the region is entering a qualitatively new level of gas supply. By implementing this investment project, we make a significant contribution to improving the level and quality of life of the region’s population.”
Reference: over the past 5 years, about 7 thousand new homes are connected to the gas supply system. Large enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses of Kyzylorda are gradually transferred to ecological fuel. In 2013, KazTransGas JSC connected the city’s gas networks to the Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent main gas pipeline. Thus in the regional center the shortage of natural gas in wintertime was eliminated.
