Kazakhstan increased export customs duties on oil products.
The government of Kazakhstan has adopted a resolution, according to which the export customs duties (ECD) on petroleum products are increased.
The corresponding resolution was signed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov on September 7 and published in the database of normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The document comes into force after 10 calendar days from the date of the first official publication.
According to the decree, the rates of customs duties on the export of light oil products from this date will be $168.88 per ton, dark oil products – $112.59. ECD for crude oil is maintained at $40 per ton.
Currently, according to the resolution of the government of Kazakhstan adopted at the end of last year, the following rates of export customs duties: crude oil export – $40 per ton, light oil products – $164.97 per ton, dark oil products – $109.98.
