The contest of professional skills of gas workers "Uzdik Maman-2016" has ended.

The main objectives of the competition are the exchange of experience, improvement of professional skills and productivity of employees.

From 11 to 14 July this year in Shymkent, a subsidiary of the national operator in the field of gas and gas supply “KazTransGas” JSC “Intergas Central Asia” held the final round of the contest “Uzdik Maman-2016”.

This year, the event brought together 15 competitive professions and 102 participants, who previously became the best in their professions by the results of the regional stage.

The final round of the competition included testing the theoretical knowledge of the participants by testing and performing practical tasks at production facilities. The main criteria for evaluating the results of the contestants were the number and quality of work performed the use of qualified and safe methods and techniques of work, the level of theoretical training, knowledge and compliance with safety rules, and a high culture of production in the workplace.

Mandatory passing safety training before starting. Check of theoretical knowledge of participants by testing. Contestant ought to answer 40 questions in his/her specialty in 40 minutes.

The practical part of the competition began with a test of knowledge on first aid.

The brightest performances of the contestants in the category “Electric and gas welder”. It is a kind of magic: to connect two pieces of metal together. This specialty is one of the most important in the gas industry. The essence of welding is that between the edges of the welded parts, preheated well, poured molten metal.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan gas welders and gas cutters of KazTransGas produced installation.

Summing up the results of the competition KazTransGas employees once again proved their high level of professional training. About the winners of this level, we can confidently say that these people are the future of the company, the strength of the gas industry of the country!
