An extended meeting of the Regional Council of the regional Chamber of entrepreneurs chaired by the Chairman of the Presidium of the National chamber of entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan Timur Kulibayev was held in Kyzylorda region.

The large Aral sea region has good investment opportunities.

Speaking at the enlarged meeting of the Regional Council, the Head of NCE Timur Kulibayev positively assessed the potential investment opportunities of the Aral sea region.

“The region in all respects occupies a leading position in the country. This applies to social security and infrastructure development projects. Kyzylorda has become a huge transport hub – the road, the railway, the transit gas pipeline – all this allows the region to receive huge dividends,” Timur Kulibayev said.

According to the Head of NCE, own sources of hydrocarbons and the availability of gas pipelines “Western China-Europe” and “Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent” allow to gasify up to 75% of the Kyzylorda region. In addition, the Governor’s office is negotiating with the European development Bank, the Asian Development Bank and the Islamic development Bank on seven major infrastructure projects.

“This, firstly, gives ample opportunities for local entrepreneurs in the construction industry; secondly – it promises the possibility of creating new jobs,” Timur Kulibayev said. The head of NCE noted that now there is no “transport stiffness” in the region, and the availability of developed infrastructure makes the region attractive to investors. In addition, additional public funds under the program “Nurly Zhol” are poured into the economy of the region. “Our task is to implement joint projects, and we from the National chamber will provide this service support, that is, to help you in negotiations with development institutions, with obtaining permits, etc.”, – assured entrepreneurs Timur Kulibayev.
