"Board of veterans of gas industry" was created.
Veterans of the gas transportation system of Kazakhstan united and created a public organization – the first Council of veterans of the industry. Branches of the Council began to work in Astana, Almaty and eight regions of the country. The organization is designed to protect the rights of honored workers of the industry, who, in turn, are willing to share knowledge and experience with young people.
The profession of a gasman is hard work and a harsh school of life, veterans of the industry say. They built a gas pipeline system of the former Soviet Union, created a national gas pipeline network that connected the entire Eurasian continent. The Council is the organization that will solve the social problems of veterans and ensure professional continuity.
Bagdat Aldabergenov – Director of Aktobe branch of “Council of veterans of gas transportation industry of Kazakhstan”
“This is a very large army of experienced conscientious people who can raise the image of the gas industry, show the prestige of this profession.”
Vladimir Lekhman – Director of West Kazakhstan branch of “Council of veterans of gas transportation industry of Kazakhstan”
“They have a lot of experience. Therefore, there is something to convey, many are ready to work, to read lectures, to speak as experts, to evaluate something, because it is such a knowledge base, and not to use it criminally, I believe.”
Today in the gas transportation system large projects carried out, at a faster pace the blue fuel comes in the village. The first heating season without imported gas was held in the South of the country.
Vladimir Lekhman – Director of West Kazakhstan branch of “Council of veterans of gas transportation industry of Kazakhstan”
Over the past 2-3 years, a large gas pipeline “Beineu – Shymkent” was built, almost 3,000 km long. Thus, we closed the ring, and now we supply our natural Karachagan gas from Western Kazakhstan, to the southern regions, up to Almaty”.
According to the veterans, the main gas pipelines built in Soviet times were not technologically connected with each other. Now they are connected in one gas transportation system, provided the South of the country with domestic gas and now reverse supply gas in any volume and in any direction. It was the dream of several generations of gas workers. Such strategic decisions taken by KazTransGas over the past two years have indeed brought the country closer to energy security in the gas industry.
