Beineu Bozoi Shymkent Gas Pipeline is the largest pipeline project in the history of independent Kazakhstan it is designed to play important role in the State security of energy supply increase.
In comply with the Message of the President Nazabaev to the people of Kazakhstan, dated 6th of February 2008, the Project pursue the objective of the southern regions of our country gasification, which at the moment depend on gas import. Upon putting gas pipe line into operation, import of gas will not be required, stable energy supply to home market will be provided.
Construction & operation of the gas pipeline will render macroeconomic & social effect for several regions of Kazakhstan, will enable extra investments into social sphere & production. In future natural gas export to China will be carried out via Beineu Bozoi Shymkent Gas Pipeline, which provides the growth of extra financial investments to the country.
Future gas pipeline is one of leading infrastructure projects of Kazakhstan: it is included into the list of investment strategic projects, into Industrialization Map for 2010-2014. Large-scaled work had been carried out in the course of the project development on optimum terms of construction Feasibility Study identifying, including financing & ecological norms observance.
The Project is being executed jointly by Kazakhstan & China, in accordance with earlier concluded interstate agreements, as well as arrangements between «NC «КаzMunaiGas» JSC & China National Petroleum Corporation. In pursuance to execution of these agreements provisions, «Beineu Shymkent» Gas pipeline LLP had been founded in December 2010, which, the functions of Design Company had been assigned to.
LLP had been founded on the base of the equal shares participation of the two states in comply with Kazakhstan legislature. KazTransGas JSC is the Founder from Kazakhstan part, Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline is from Chinese part. Equity Capital of our company is 1 bln USD, which is formed by equal size fees of Kazakhstan & China.
The route of the main gas pipeline, (1067 mm pipe diameter) will run via the territories of Маngistau, Аktubinsk, Кzyl Ordy & South Kazakhstan оblasts. Project will be realized in several stages.
The first stage up to 6 bln cubic m carrying capacity is anticipated to be completed in 2013. The section from Beineu compressor station (CS) to Kereit CS, 1130 km length, with the brunch pipe line to CS Samsonovka will be put into operation under this stage work frames.
The second stage is planned for realization during 2014-15. The construction of Beineu Bozoi section 311 km length & extra CS will be realized, increasing carrying capacity up to 10 bln cubic meters. In prospect it is planned to increase carrying capacity of gas pipeline to 15 bln cubic meters of gas, aiming export of natural gas to to China fromс Kazakhstan gas fields of Urihtau & Zhanazhol.
Gas pipeline under construction – is strategic project, aimed for South of Kazakhstan provision with kazakstani natural gas. Bearing in mind it successful realization we intend to use the potential of Kazakhstan vendors & producers to the full extent. They are given highest priority.
In the course of construction & realization, thousands of new working places could be created, as well as it will enable the development of different spheres of national economy.
