URALSK COMMUNITY LIAISON MEETING FOR GAS SUPPLY ISSUES.

JSC KazTransGas jointly with Nur Otan Party continues organizing Field Community Liaison Meetings for gas supply in regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A regular was held with residents of Uralsk city.

As of today, more than 93% of the population in the region are supplied with natural gas, it is about 200 000 people. An investment program is being implemented to refurbish gas transmission and gas distribution networks of the region.Those who came to the meeting with gas workers were interested in a wide range of issues.

Ainagul Urazaliyeva a resident of Uralsk asked how it is possible to supply gas to residential house and what factors make an effect on the cost of such project. According to specialists of gas industry, the cost of construction and assembly in order to ensure gas supply is identified individually for each facility, and depends on various factors, for example remoteness from existing gas networks, conditions, gas pipeline route layout and number of the installed equipment.

A citizen Askhat Borashev showed an interest about companies which provide gas supply services and have similar to JSC KazTransGas Aimak name. Director of West-Kazakhstan production branch of JSC KazTransGas Aimak Azimbek Asarov explained that the companies OralGas Aimak LLP, BatysGas Aimak LLP, NacGas Aimak LLP have nothing to do with the branch. Though similarity in the name is frequently misleading the local community. Taking into account that the activities on inspection of gas equipment, chimney stacks and ventilation ducts does not apply to licensable type of activity that is why these works are performed by the aforesaid companies. Meanwhile, these companies are subject to only record registration at justice agencies and no one controls their activities. Often, these companies do not have skilled staff and certified equipment and it may cause a threat to safety of consumers.

All citizens of Uralsk who addressed to community liaison meeting have received detailed explanations and advisory support.

In addition within the event representatives of the West Kazakhstan Production Branch of JSC KazTransGas Aimak and the public association Republican Council of Gas Industry Veterans arranged a meeting with the public, on which the program article of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “A Look into the Future: Modernization of Public Consciousness” has been discussed.

Representatives of public association Republican Council of Gas Industry Veterans with the support of JSC KazTransGas within the visiting the region have held master classes for young workers of the gas industry in Uralsk and visited facilities of the gas transportation system of the region.
