Gas supply to the settlements of Western Kazakhstan, interrupted due to damage to the pipe, has been resumed.
In the West Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan the accident on the gas pipeline, which deprived of gas supply of several settlements of the region is liquidated.
“At the moment, emergency recovery work has been completed, gas supply to the houses has begun,” the press service of the regional Department for emergency situations told Interfax-Kazakhstan Agency on Tuesday.
As reported last Monday the high-pressure polyethylene gas pipe with a diameter of 160 mm was damaged in the conduct of ZhaikStroyService LLP excavation in the settlement Derkul. As a result, towns Uskenauyl, Vetelki, Novostroyka and partially Derkul were deprived of gas supply– a total of about two thousand people.
