Report presentation meeting of trade union committee of Local Trade Union of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP employees Public Association with S. Yestay, General Director.

On June 23, 2016, Zh. Alzhanov, the Chairman of trade union committee of Local Trade Union of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP employees Public Association (hereinafter – Trade Union) as the part of Trade Union Committee has held the meeting with Serik Yestay, General Director.

In the course of the meeting, Zh. Alzhanov, the Chairman of Trade Union Committee covered the main results of the Trade union work for 2015 and tasks for the current year.

According to the report information, the last year for the Trade Union has been closed with good results: the contract with Sectorial Trade Union of Employees of Petroleum Complex PA has been concluded, the competitions on table tennis, volleyball, chess dedicated to Oil&Gas industry workers’ day have been performed, the financial support has been established due to loss of family members, Conciliation Committee has been established and operates.   

Zh. Alzhanov also noted that due to the fact that the Bank has suspended the financing of Beineu-Shymkent gas pipeline construction project (the financing of the 1st Phase has been renewed only on May 27, 2016), the allocation of funds for implementation of mechanism of social support of employees was impossible in 2015 and the first half-year of 2016.

Along with that, the Partnership plans to introduce amendments to the budget for the 2nd half-year of 2016, where the expenses related to the trade union activity will be envisaged.

Besides, the work on coordination and signing of the Collective agreement with the Partnership employees is being performed, with regard to new RK Labor Code.

S. Yestay, General Director noted the necessity of early signing of Collective agreement, as well as the adoption of the trade union budget for the second half-year of 2016 and approval of the action plan of the trade union for 2016, with the purpose of further development of social support of the Partnership labor personnel.

According to the results of the meeting, Zh. Alzhanov, the Chairman of Trade Union Committee emphasized that the achieved results are required to be fixed, as well as the work shall be continued on increase of the living standards of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP employees.
