Residents of Aralsk were supplied with the natural gas.

«Aralsk» automated gas-distribution station (AGDS) has been commissioned within the framework of «Gasification of 5 settlements of Kyzylorda Region» investment project.

Krymbek Kusherbaev, Akim of Kyzylorda Region, and Kairat Sharipbaev, Director General of JSC «KazTransGas», have attended the ceremonial event on commissioning of AGDS and gas supply for consumers of Aralsk.

The gasification of Aralsk started in May this year and gas supply networks are commissioned 2 months earlier of the agreed term. It should be noted that all facilities by JSC «KazTransGas» under «Gasification of 5 settlements of Kyzylorda Region» investment project are commissioned ahead of the schedule. Within 5 months they laid out high pressure gas pipeline from «Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent» main pipeline and block pipelines of 293 km in total, 2 gas-distribution points, 36 gas-distribution cabinet points in Aralsk. Now over 32 thousand residents and 143 municipal enterprises can consume the natural gas. As «Aralsk» AGDS has sufficient output to cover the consumption needs of other settlements, it is planned to  conduct the gasification of adjacent villages Zhaksykylysh, Shizha and Zhalgyzagash.

Kairat Sharipbaev, CEO (Director General) of JSC «KazTransGas» noted: «Another large settlement of Kyzylorda Region has been supplied with the natural gas. It is safe to say that implementing strategic plans defined by President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan enters a new development level each year. «Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent» project implemented by the initiation of President allowed residents of Aralsk consuming convenient, ecologically clean and efficient fuel. Owing to efforts of the national operator JSC «KazTransGas»190 thousand residents of Kyzylorda Region will be able to consume the gas. 1.5 K km of pipelines have been laid out within short term. It stands on that the region is entering a new gas supply level. The national operator as a national company will continue to contribute into the improvement of living standards and quality of Kazakhstanies. Let me bring forward some figures, in 2000s the mileage of gas-distribution networks was equal to 8K km, within last 5 years this figure raised to 35K km. The mileage of main pipelines comprised 10K km in 2000s and now it is equal to 19 K km having increased twice within 5 years».

10 schools, 9 kindergartens, 6 hospitals, 6 cultural centers, 3 sport schools, tuberculosis dispensary, No3 fire station, mosque, «Kazteleradio» building and production complex, administration of «Barsakelmes» reservation applied for the gas supply in Aralsk. It is planned to use the natural gas on the constructed plant on soda ash production under the implementation of the State Program on Forced Industrial-Innovative Development. The commissioning is scheduled in 2019-2020.

Reference: Nearly 7 thousand new houses have been connected to the gas supply system within last 5 years. Large enterprises, small and medium business objects of Kyzylorda gradually transfer to the ecological fuel. In 2013, JSC «KazTransGas» attached municipal gas networks to «Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent» main pipeline. Thus, the gas shortage in the winter season has been removed.
