Zhang Yu, Deputy General Director for Technical Issues

Zhang Yu was born in 1983 in the PRC. He joined the China Petroleum University in 2002 and received his doctorate degree in oil and gas storage and transportation in 2011.
Employment history
Since 2011 until 2013, he worked as an engineer at Hispaw oil pumping station of Muse Operation Center of Southeast Asia Pipeline Co., Ltd.
Since 2014 until 2017, he worked as the Station Manager of the Xingkontai Oil Transfer Station of the Muse Island Operations Center of Southeast Asia Pipeline Co., Ltd.
Since 2018 until 2020, he worked as the Deputy manager of Made Island Operations Center of Southeast Asia Pipeline Co., Ltd.
Since 2021 until 2023, he worked as the Deputy manager of the Mandalay Operations Center of Southeast Asia Pipeline Co., Ltd.
Since 2024 until 2025, he worked as the Deputy Director of the Production and Marketing Department of CNPC International Pipeline Company.
Since May 13, 2025 – he is working as the Deputy General Director for Technical Issues in Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP.
