Report presentation meeting of General Director S.Yestay with employees of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP under results of production and economic activities of the Partnership for the first half of 2016.
On August 18, 2016 General Director held a report presentation meeting with employees of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP under results of production and economic activity of the Partnership for the first half of 2016. The opening speech General Director Mr. Yestay S., began with the welcome of the staff and announcement of the Partnership’s achievements for the first half of 2016, among which the most important are: lack of accidents with serious consequences at facilities of Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent main gas pipeline (hereinafter-MGP); completion of main activities and works on funding of Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent Project (hereinafter – Project); From March 01, 2016 setting of 2015-2019 tariff for transportation of commercial gas through main gas pipelines in the amount of 18 071 KZT for 1000 m3 excluding VAT; overfulfillment of gas transportation plan by 259 mln. m3 for the first half.
Moreover, in addition to achievements of the first half of 2016, General Director Mr. Yestay S., also pointed out receipt of positive conclusion from RSE Gosexpertiza dated February 23, 2016 under Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline construction project, delivery of all 5 units to construction site for Bozoy CS.
Deputy General Director for economy and finance Mr. Shabdukarimov S.B., in his speech announced that execution of investment program for I half was 37%. Mr. Shabdukarimov added that in second half of the year it has been planned to conduct inspections by environmental and technical consultants of the Bank within the framework of renewal of carry financing of II phase of the Project.
Deputy General Director – Deputy PMT Leader Mr.Saurambayev B.K., highlighted progress of Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline construction project including 1st Project Phase: completion of construction of pipeline service roads, according to Project implementation schedule the commissioning of the Project is scheduled for September 16, 2016; progress of construction and assembly works (hereinafter CAW) as of June 30, 2016 for Aksuat ERC – 52%; Aksuat SC ― 62%, Saksaulsk ERC ― 71%, Saksaulsk SC ― 59%, Shornak ERC ― 42%, Shornak SC ― 63%. In accordance with project implementation schedule, commissioning of Saksaulsk and Aksuat ERC and SC is scheduled for December 27, 2016; commissioning of Shornak and Karaozek ERC and SC – March 30, 2017; progress of CAW of Bozoy SC – 75% Bozoy CS ― 50%. Completion of construction under Project implementation schedule is scheduled for – March 28, 2017.
As for construction status of the 2nd phase of the project, Mr. Saurambayev B.K., stated that in the first half of 2016 there was conducted an in-line inspection under results of which no any significant defects have been revealed. At the moment finalization is ongoing.
With regard to engineering works, Mr. Saurambayev B.K., reported that the Partnership decided to perform “Adjustment 3”, under which some of the technical and technological parameters are subject to revision, as well as the terms of construction of the 4th start-up complex of the 1st stage of construction that affect the Project cost parameters.
Deputy General Director for Operation – Mr. Adilov T.A., reported on production activity of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP. Mr. Adilov T.A., outlined general achievements of production section: conclusion of Contract for gas transportation services with KTG JSC according to which the gas transportation volume for the first half is 1 290 053.475 thous. m3.; approval of Production program of Intergas Central Asia JSC for 2016; performance of in-line inspection at the section 0-311 km of Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent main gas pipeline; performance of works on cleaning of internal cavity of Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent main gas pipeline at the section 311-1454.2 km.
Further on, Mr. Suanbekov B.A., Deputy General Director for Business Support reported on administrative and personnel issues. Mr. Suanbekov B.A., reminded that on March 25, 2016 there was held a corporate event associated with “Nauryz Meiramy” the State holyday where employees were awarded with letters of appreciation for significant contribution into activity of the Partnership. Moreover, with a view of motivation of the Partnership’s employees, the Board of the Partnership approved an issue on lump-sum premium payment to employees of the Partnership on the eve of “Nauryz Meiramy” holiday.
Also, Mr. Suanbekov noted that under the Rules of uniform system of internal communication between employers and employees, the Partnership held conference calls, meetings of line managers with employees of structural subdivisions, complaints and suggestions box was launched. Constant monitoring of execution by EPC-Contractors of the terms and conditions of the Section 11.9 “Services to Owner” was launched and ongoing.
According to Advisor of General Director, Chairman of Labour Union Committee Mr. Korzhakov A.Ye., Partnership Management supports plans which will be implemented by Labour Union Committee.
Summarizing results of the meeting, General Director Yestay S., called employees of the Partnership for joining a Labour Union as soon as possible and thanked all employees of the Partnership for efficient work.
